TEN DAY NAIL POLISH CHALLENGE - DAY 4
FAVORITE COLOR
It’s virtually impossible for me to pick ONE color. I blame the libra in me! I will however pick ORLY, Fowl Play for this one, because it’s one of my recents buys and I just ADORE it. I couldn’t stop starring at my nails the whole week I was wearing it, look how pretty!

Color: Trendsetter (China Glaze)
Retail Price: $6.50 (USD)This shade is from China Glaze’s Metro collection. It is a mustard yellow with gold shimmer. It almost looks like a very yellowed olive green. I think it’s the most stunning shade from the Metro collection, so if you want to only get one shade from this collection, make it this one! It’s not a standard “fall” shade (I don’t really think it is), but it seems to fit within this collection, too!
Application was smooth and easy. I needed two coats to achieve bottle color.

I am doing a bit of an experiment. I did one nail with bonder base coat. Since suede and matte polishes are very “chippy”, I did just my regular base coat Nail Magic on every other nail and I did Nail Magic and orly’s bonder on my right hand ring finger. As of right now… that is the only nail that is not chipped (I did my nails wed night). I should have put the bonder on a different nail cus generally my ring fingers do not chip easy… but I am going out tomorrow night so I will be taking this off and doing another polish… but I will revisit this experiment to see how long the polish will last with bonder as a base.
Yes, suede and matte polishes tell you not to use a base or a top coat BUT I was trying it out with the base and the tc.
