Older than most tumblr users (I was born in the 70's).
I am sure that will make a difference in what I post.
Please check out my blog before following.
I don't post many personal posts.
I am not an annoying fangirl. I do not jump on bandwagons and post EVERYTHING from them.
From Chicago, one of the greatest cities.
This is a place for my odds and ends I find that I love.
I do post quite a bit sometimes.
I will most likely post lots of quotes, movie and tv caps or stills, pictures of animals, and other random things that catch my fancy.
If you want to know about me please click on the about me link down below.

Posts I've "liked"

* I take no credit for the quotes or pictures I put on here unless they are my own.

Today, 27 th January, is the Holocaust Memorial Day, in homage to the Millions of Victims of the Nazi persecutions.
It was the day in of the liberation of Auschwitz- Birkenhau in 1945.
It really makes me feel sad, even depressed , to think: how come, not so many years ago, the destructive ideals of a man led to a fanatic movement that made life hell to so many people? This is proof of how Humanity still has many to learn. Unfortunately, the Neo Nazi movements continue the ‘black’ legacy of Hitler, discrimatinig violently people who are as just as human as you and I. They may be uniquely radical - but people that practice brutal discrimination are everywhere, even if in more subtle ways.
Hopefully, we will remember this tragedy for eternity as it is not granted that disasters like the Holocaust won’t happen again. The Holocaust is not History, it’s a testimony. It’s imperial to motivate the modern civilization to equality and non-discrimination. We cannot ever ignore & despize the multicultural world we live in!
